Dr. Colbert enjoys establishing meaningful relationships with her patients and helping them have the healthiest pregnancies and lives as possible. She enjoys the breadth that the field of OB/GYN has to offer. Following graduation with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Michigan, Dr. Colbert spent a year in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan working with an Americorps program called City Year Detroit. She then went on to matriculate at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine where she earned her doctorate in medicine. She went on two service-based learning trips during her time at MSU in Peru and Costa Rica. She completed her training at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, baking, yoga, and spending time with her family.
